Game of Telestrations.

ROTFL

Hi Friends!!

Labor Day weekend was more like Labor of Love Day weekend for Watch Mer do! I spent Saturday back to school shopping with my sister in law and 2 nieces. Normally, I hate clothing shopping, but none of it was for me and I didn't have to try anything on - so it was a super fun time. We went to a handful of thrift/resale stores in the area and bought all. the. new. things.

I also found a Clay Matthews Packers jersey for only $5 so I made sure to pick that up. I'm wearing it today for - game is in about 3 hours.

On Sunday, I tried my hand at cross body purses. I had a hard time not keeping the denim and glitter flowers for myself. It's beautiful. My husband said the bumble bee one was the best of the lot. I don't know if I should believe him or not. HAHA.

Sunday evening, I thought about making myself a new lunch bag. The one I have my friend made for me almost a decade ago. Monday, while I was trying to pick out fabrics for myself, I found a whole bunch of combos that I love, but don't want to commit to for another decade. So, I decided to make the lunch bags from the fabric combinations for you! Hence the brand new Bag - lunch!

These babies are also lined with Insul-Bright fabric to help keep things inside cool. They're about a 5 inch cube, so they should be able to fit most of your Tupperware containers, fruit, and beverages. The problem is, although I love the bags I made, none of them tripped my trigger to keep. So on I go trying to find the right fabric.

I also applied to 3 more craft shows. Unfortunately, I was only accepted to 1 of the 3. That's ok though! It leaves me more time for creating new things. You can find all the craft shows I'll be attending at the top of my Updates Page.

That's about all for me. I'm just relaxing a bit after until game time. We had 4 friends here for games weekend. The picture is from our own version of "Telestrations". I laughed SOOO hard I was literally fell off my chair and was laying on the floor until I could get my breathing back under control. So, now I need to clean up a bit too (and go through the new fabric I purchased on a quick outing yesterday before the festivities).

I hope you all have an amazing day!

Peace, love, and sewing,

Mer
